The Roberts School has implemented what we feel are the very best available programs in early childhood education. Each child participates in an age appropriate phonics based pre-reading/reading program and mathematics -- as well as art, cooking, music, movement, gymnastics, literature, story telling, Spanish and dramatic play. Field trips and in house special events take place regularly. We have always offered a young 5’s/pre-kindergarten program as well as kindergarten. Our kindergarteners are prepared for first grade according to California’s state content standards. Our low student/teacher ratio supports optimum individualized attention for all of the children in every classroom.
ENROLLMENT DETAILS:
The school operates year round with an age appropriate academic emphasis from September through June. Our summer program is a weekly themed schedule like that of a summer camp. We accept children into our preschool, pre kindergarten and kindergarten between the ages of 2 – 6 years. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm. Full time and part time enrollment is offered on a space available basis at any time of the year. |
